St*art is a Saturday morning art club designed for young artists aged 8 - 12 years old. it has just received a further three years funding from the East Anglian Arts Fund and the Norwich Town Close Estate Charity - Which is Fantastic!. This year we have developed a new partnership with The Norwich University of the Arts (NUCA) to promote the Creative industries and highlight pathways to further Arts education.
As lead artist of St*art I have designed a full 18 week programme split into three, 6 week courses covering drawing, painting and sculpture. The content inspired by and linked to the Castle’s art galleries and collections. The sessions are ambitious, fun and fast paced; this is a club that brings together children that love Art! The group develop confidence with the freedom to express ideas, discover new materials and celebrate creativity of all kinds.
