Commissioned by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust to create a center-piece sculpture and a public participatory arts activity for their 90th anniversary celebration ‘Wild in the City.’ A two week celebratory event promoting the work of the Trust and its many sites.
The Flying tern sculpture was designed to be their promotional artwork for key events including Royal Norfolk Show, Cley Education Centre and their Annual Conference during their 90th year. Involved working with over 700 members of the public at the Forum event to create a ‘Tern raft’ installation.
Digital 3D modelling of the desired "tern" form, before splicing into pieces that can be slotted together to form one pice.
